Und grüne fröhlich

There are a lot of things I set out to do with my first album. The first and most obvious was to get the experience under my belt in a low stress way. Beyond that, I wanted to produce something that was closer to the experience of live performance than you might traditionally hear from a studio album. Something more genuine, more real, and more human.

From these goals came this idea for a Time Capsule Album. A record etched in time, honestly marking what I sing and how I sing right now. Each of these tracks was recorded in one or two complete takes and subjected to the minimum amount of post-production editing required to make it bearable to listen to.

It isn't perfect. There are things I would sing differently even now, 3 months later. What it is is Real. Genuine. Human.
